Elliot, through your training program I improved my high school football experience and became a dominating force on the field for my team. I have also achieved my dream of becoming a college football player for FSU. Your training and teaching have lead me to become not only stronger in body but also in mind. Without you none of this would be possible and for that i say thank you. Your program doesn’t just make people stronger, but turns boys to men, and men to even better men! I’ve improved my life through the impact of your program and hope that others take advantage of the same opportunity. Keep it up, i’m behind you 100%!!!!!

Hey Elliot, i have been watching your videos on youtube for a while now and they are constantly getting me pumped up to get in to the gym and push myself. I still have many problems when it comes to training such as a reoccurring shoulder pain (slowly getting better thanks to your shoulder rehab video), hitting plateaus regularly and few results when it comes to physical appearance. I have only recently been delving deeper into things such as the lean hybrid muscle workout/meal plan, reading up on “the 4 hour body” as well as “the muscle shifting doctrine” I am beginning my path to a new and better version of myself as of right now. I have very clear goals set for myself and i know that i will achieve them. Thanks Elliot for the constant inspiration, Im hoping one day maybe i’ll fly over to America and get to train with you in person but Im along way from that at this point in time.
Thank-you once again hope to see plenty more videos in the near future.
P.s. I was wondering if the lean hybrid muscle book/meal plan were available (hard copy) in any bookstores in Australia Im having a hard time tracking a copy down.

Been following your posts, blog, video and training methods for about 8 months now. I am at the point now where you have inspired me to create my own Passion Cash business, and even though I am not sure where I am headed with it, I talk about it all the time and dream about the places it could go. You have constantly inspired me to be the best version of myself. I have strived for the same goals as you for a while now, but by myself I tend to fall away from the path and let my own doubts get the best of me. Now, it I get these thoughts, which have become much more rare, I simply come to your website and re-read or re-watch a past video of yours and I’m right back there. You’re a great man Elliot, simple as that. You are doing for so many people what so many people only dream about doing but never implement. And I know it will only get better. You’re are needed and you let us know that we are too. Much Love brother

Strong character is right on the money. I’ve been to gyms that are full of strong dudes that laugh at the young people trying to train. Total BS. What’s the point of becoming big and strong (mentally and physcially) if you can’t pass it on to the next generation.
That’s what Elliott is doing, and keep leading from the front!

“E”:
From the getgo I have been impressed with your wholistic approach to taking on life’s trials and tribulations; your intelligence (and willingness to share your knowledge); your willingness to hear out other’s opinions; (if not entirely accept their idea’s and criticisms) and your determination to be the best all around ‘persons’ you can become (persons in the plural, because we are all more than one — Father, mentor, friend, mate, teacher, neighbor, … et al).
There isn’t one particular phrase or philosophic pearl that I’ve been inspired by; it’s actually your actions as a totlal package. You are the type of individual that can at times be hard to interpret but at the same time be easy to understand.
If I were to have met you along my personal life path, I would easily have taken you to my bosom as a dear friend. Sooooo, to cut this short and before it starts getting creepy, it boils down to who Elliott Hulse is in toto, not just one or two things that he has done or said.
Keep on being you, brother!

Elliott you have inspired me in many ways. I drive 2.5 hours JUST to your gym to make training at 9am just because you push me so hard! NOT TO MENTION DRIVING 2.5 HOURS BACK! Its inspiring to be around such a world class lifter such as you. You have push me beyond my barriers of potential and created a monster inside me. Since I’ve been coming to strength camp I put on 30lbs of muscle. I am a top level amateur strongman because of you. I have managed to get a 495lb(raw)touch n go bench press,395lb overhead press,685lb deadlift,500lb front squat,500 x 10 box squat through training every weekend with you and thats just gym lifts at a bodyweight of 240-245lb. Every strongman competition I prepare for is based on the training you have taught me to do, thats why I have been excelling at it. But besides all the strength I have gain with you as my training partner. I have achieved other things in my life. You have faith and hope in me. You BELIEVE in me! You constantly tell me I have the will to win I just need to DO IT. You have lifted me up when I was down. You have made me a better person by your presence. I look at you an really aspire to be like you in a lot of ways. You are a role model, a good friend and a fantastic inspiration to me. Thanks Elliott for everything you done for me because I’m really grateful to be your friend and a strength camp athlete!

As I sat here and watched this video, I realized that I have been exhibiting these characteristics of becoming the strongest version of myself. I have always been the type of person who wants to be a better persona nd help those around me as best as I can. I never thought of putting it into this sort of format but it’s what I do on a daily basis and I have become a stronger individual – both physically and mentally. I am behind you with this 100% Elliott!

Hi Elliot,
Your words often resonate in my head. While I’m at the gym, I recall the amount of effort I watch you and guys at your gym do, and I never settle for less.
Everytime I start a set, I say to myself “No one is working harder than me”, and I think that reading what you share has helped me make the decision to strive for the best version of me…
I also have a personal transformation story… In 2004 I was obese at 34% body fat and at almost 260 pounds. Today (after injuries ind the middle and losing a lot body mass) I’m at 171 pounds and about 16% body fat. This personal transformation changed every bit of me. I’m a whole different person in all aspects of my life, and it was the commitment that led me to where I came. I’m currently bulking up before I put myself on the single digit bodyfat, which I WILL do (I was once very close to it, so I know I can do it, because I’ve almost done it before).
Anyway, I’ve been writing a book for about 2 years about my personal development process and about fat loss and weight training, because I want to live a life like yours. Helping people get their goals in life and not just the fitness ones. Because being fat (as I was most of my life) has so many implications on everything, from our self-esteem to the way we interact with other people (namely women)…
I’m pretty sure I will “use” your knowledge and wisdom to so many good things in my life… I’ve been following your newsletters and such for so many months but now, reading the part 1 of the manifesto, I’m sure that you are my GO TO guy from now on
Thank you so much for living a fulfilling life and helping others do the same, their own way and consistent with the lives each of us want to live.
THANK YOU ELLIOT

Would love to. I do believe my personal experience and transformation can help other people. It was truly a story of commitment, dedication, involvement and self responsibility. I’m trying to put myself in that state again: laser-focused to finish my book and start my business, so I can finally reach more people with content to help them.

Hi Elliot, Firstly congratulations on the new arrival and I hope all is well. The 6 principles have really given me the kick up the butt I needed to be honest. I have recently taken the biggest risk of my life in becoming a full time personal trainer, working for myself. I have always had a steady income from good jobs, but not the jobs I wanted to do, losing 70 pounds pointed me in the direction of my true calling, which is helping people feel good about themselves. I started personal training part time whilst my full time job kept paying the bills. I made a decision in July to gamble on myself and cut loose. It is scary as I have always had the comfort blanket of a job and now I have had to make a decision to go it alone. I have had to leave behind a lot of “friends” as they don’t lead the kind of life I want. If I think about what I achieved in the last five years and particularly in the 11 months I have been in the fitness industry, I feel so positive but it’s difficult when you are also trying to change an “employed” mindset. The 6 principles are really helping me get through the BS fear and doubt and smash it up! Thanks for sharing, it is a great investment.

It’s refreshing to know that there is a whole tribe that have seen the truths that I have come to realize……Life is a constant struggle to improve oneself, and what matters most is not the results but the effort given….choosing to continue to give all even when everything works against you….those who achieve greatness without effort don’t understand, those who achieve nothing and never lose the heart to quit trying do….true results are measured in character and integrity….if we turn our bodies into powerhouses of brute strength, even better, but in the spirit of the ancient Greeks, the mind is as important as the body, and the spirit or soul is indispensable….but I’ll stop there for now….

Add 1 more towards your “1 Million Stronger.”
After reading the 1st part of the Manifesto, I remembered how I saw myself as kid when I grow up. Its very different than the image in the mirror, I gurantee it. Becoming aware of what actions I took and why I took them only showed me that I was a product of my own environment. Strong in one area, weak in the rest.
Through the Manifesto, I remember how I used to be and how much happier as well. So I start a new journey. . . not the one where being the best is all I care about, but the one where I can help others like me and more, like how Elliot helped me. A changed mind is a changed soul.

I just finished your manifesto and watched a few of your videos. I really liked you from the get go and have been putting a few of my buddies and i through your LHM program (awesome strength gains! i was already ripped just looked like a runner) now I UNDERSTAND WHY i have been drawn to your videos and programs. I have been on the verge of a major paradigm shift, and really struggling with direction. I have had a successful business crumble in this economy and have lost all the stuff the world deems to be important . My wife and i are starting over, major changes on the horizon dont know how but it will change.Honestly I have been lost for a while,as i sit here with tears of gratitude in my eyes, and acknowledge gods hand in my stumbling across this after an exceptional Sunday service. The ANT’s have been wreaking havoc on my life and I have just put to the rest the lesser version of me . I cant wait to share my new STRONGER version of me soon .I gotta go get part 2 now of the manifesto. My wife 4 children and I thank you for being the stronger version of you. I feel like somebody just kicked me in the head and i got my Vision back!

Wanted to share my quick story with other members of the Hulse Strength group. You know my story, but I want to shout it out to the world, because LHM that you and Mike developed, has changed my life 10 fold. I dropped 34lbs in about 8 weeks and dropped about 12.5% body fat using Lena Hybrid Muscle. I did nothing special but stick to the workout program and the nutrition program. Came into the program weighing 188lbs and before heading into the Maintenance Phase was a little under 155. Cannot express my extreme gratitude to Elliott and Mike. This program is phenomenal. Thanks Elliott and Mike. You all are awesome and do tremendous work!!!

I have one question for you Elliott. I want to become a pro strongman and need a good program to follow, me and my friend have a small strongman basement gym but all program and personal trainers we have paid is not helping us get any better. One say don’t eat that and that….another say lift this and you get strong. But if we do that it ends up like this: Eat low fat, low carbs, high protein (starving and no power); Do train in machines and slow lifting (no squats, deads or OHP).
Is this site for us or is it just for those how want to improve their sport strenght?
(Sorry for bad spelling. Lives in Sweden and do not speak english very offen)

Yo Elliott!
Hey man. I have been looking for direction for sometime now. I would usually just find stuff on workouts, and that’s all. Some would help with self-help, but they look like they should use their own advice because they look fat and depressed. Anyways just want to say thanks, and want to share my story (*warning long read ahead*).
Just like your muscles are under incredible stress when you lift weights, my life is the same. The challenges I face ahead are like hundreds and hundreds of pounds in weights. You see I’m what governments call an “illegal immigrant”. I was brought illegally to the U.S. by my parents when I was only 2 years old. Call it for a better life or whatever you want but the fact is that I’m now 25 years old, and under current U.S. law there is NO way to legalize my immigration status. Trust me if there was a way I would’ve done it a long time ago. I know no other country but this one. This is my home. I live in constant fear of deportation to another country that I no longer remember.
Attending colleges is of a great challenge. We (dreamers) are not allowed to pay for instate tuition, we can not receive grants or federal financial aid. Even if we wanted to pay out of pocket many times we can not afford the out-of-country status were given by colleges that is 3 times higher than legal residents. We are not allowed to have driving licensees. We are not allowed to work legally. Everything we do must be under fear of one day being caught and being deported.
I am extremely depressed. My immigration status has not only hit me hard in my pocket but also in my character. I tell very few people of my problem from fear of what the “media” tells them to think of this very political issue. I pay my taxes every year despite what the media tells every body that we don’t. I have studied in American schools from k-12. I even enrolled in Jr. ROTC program in high school with the intention of joining the Marines right after high school (I couldn’t because we are not allowed to). I can’t afford college. Every time I want to better my self and give back to my community I am reminded that I’m not allowed because I am an “illegal immigrant”.
I know I have introduced to a hole new world. The life of an American “illegal immigrant”. I still consider my self an American despite the paper work and “Fox News”. This is were you Mr. Elliott come into the picture. I agree with a lot of what you say in the Manifesto of Strength. I am tired of playing the roll of victim. If I can’t change the government I know I can change myself. Not change into a completely new person but to the strongest version of my self. The government, media or anybody for that case can stop Me from developing the strongest version of my self.
I am tired of playing the Victim. I’m tired of people telling me No. I’m tired of living in Fear. I’m tired of giving Explanations. I’m tired of asking for Permission. I’m going to Fucking get it!
(oh by the way I call myself DREAMer because there is law pending in congress that will benefit people like me and its called the DREAM Act for its meaning of Development Relief of Education for Alien Minors. Just waiting for congress to get its shit together and pass it already)

Hi Dreamer,
Yes, your situation is bad but it is not an impossible situation to overcome. Where there is a will, there is a way. There are always exceptions to the rule; if you dig deep enough. There is always a way to your dreams; you cannot give up. You cannot accept negative circumstances as your lot in life. Challenges are meant to be overcome. There are many people who have had unbelievable and impossible circumstances but found a way to crush those obstacles to smithereens.
Do you believe in God, the Creator of the Universe? I hope you do, because let me tell you, I have problems, I have had impossible situations, I have had obstacles that if I told people about them, they would doubt that I would overcome them. But I don’t tell everyone about them unless they are faith filled people. I may tell someone about it after I have received my victory but only a select few if any will know about it while I am going through the situation (I don’t need any negative energy affecting my mind). I go to the Creator who knows all, who can make the impossible, possible and He is WILLING to help anyone who request assistance from Him. He has helped me EVERY SINGLE TIME. Sometimes I get immediate victory, sometimes I have to wait and wait and wait, but victory comes EVERY TIME. You need people strong in faith while you are waiting for your miracle to keep you encouraged and to strengthen you when your situation is really bad.
I had a friend whose entire family was picked up and locked up by Immigration. They were trying to be legit in the US but they hired a lawyer to help them out who turned out to be crooked. They hired the lawyer because they knew that their English was not good and they did not understand the paperwork process. They ended up paying the lawyer thousands of dollars over the years and still got locked up. He never did the paperwork. So I know that all of the illegal immigrants are not low lives like the media portrays them. We don’t know the truth and judge from lack of knowledge. Anyway, the situation looked hopeless; they were there for 3 months and were told that they were going to be deported after being in the US for 14 years (had their own business and paying taxes). Well, I took it to the Lord. Despite hearing the bad news month after month, I kept believing and thanking God for a miracle. Well, one day out of nowhere, they were released; just like that. There Visa’s had been expired for years, so they should be in their birth country right now for failure to have the proper paperwork to be in the US but, somebody had sympathy for them. This happened 3 years ago and they are still here trying to live the American dream.
Well Dreamer, I have already prayed for you that your situation will turn in your favor. God answers my prayers and I love praying for other people because He is so good to me. It is not fair for me to get all the blessings and not share
I just want you to get excited and expect a miracle! Your situation may change this week or it may be sometime before your miracle arrives, so do not be discouraged. No matter what it looks like, no matter what you hear, no matter what you feel; keep looking for your miracle! One word, one changed mind can change your life. Imagine that one day you could be telling your story in a success book, at a motivational seminar or simply to someone to inspire them to keep dreaming and expect miracles!
