Hormone Rage!
Nothing pisses me off more than putting in the hard work;
blood, sweat and tears it takes to earn a reward.
Only to have it stolen!
What’s even worse is when the thief is hiding out right beneath
your nose; the thief is closer to you than even your family.
If you’re anything like me you probably spend anywhere between
four to eight back breaking hours a week in the gym training
with barbells, dumb bells and a few odd objects.
And you know what kind of return on investment to expect.
Your muscles should be getting stronger, bigger and leaner with
every ounce of effort you put forth.
Not only are you breaking your balls in they gym, but you are
meticulous about your diet.
You refuse to stuff your gullet with the processed, imitation food
that 90% of our culture nourishes themselves on.
You spend extra money for high quality meats, veggies and the
most essential supplements like fish oil and antioxidants.
But when you invest all of this time, money and effort only to find
that your results are minimal at best and diminishing at worst…
You should be rightfully OUTRAGED!
High cortisol levels as a by product of increasing physiological load
will steal your strength, muscle, vitality and sex energy faster than
a hungry fat kid steals candy from the corner store!
When you carry a high physiological load, as most people do, your
body responds by releasing cortisol.
This is a protective “fight or flight” mechanism that causes your body
to metabolize protein and muscle for energy.
There are several simple methods for reducing physiological load in
order to drop the over production of cortisol and allow your body to
become more naturally anabolic.
Most of these methods are common sense, like getting more sleep and
staying away from people with crappy attitudes.
But many others are not as obvious, such as breathing habits and several
unusual nutritional strategies.
That is why I commissioned my friend Kevin Yates to share the best of
his expert methods for reducing cortisol naturally though a reduction of
physiological load in order to re-establish hormonal balance and
begin building more muscle and sex energy faster than ever before.
You can learn more about cortisol and how we reduce it over at the
website below.

solid look.

Are You On Steroids?
I’ve been asked this question since the time I was a sophomore
in high school and became serious about strength training.
First the flat answer is, no… I am not ON steroids.
But I have used them, and I’ll explain how in a moment.
I played high school football and was one of the only kids on the
team who took weight training seriously.
My uncle was a trainer at the time and taught me how to squat,
dead lift and press with a barbell. So naturally I got really strong,
really fast and ended up earning a ‘division one double A’ college
scholarship.
In college I dominated the league and won several MVP and all
conference awards.
Several years later I began competing in strongman competitions
and took first place in 8 out of 9 shows.
I went on to become a professional strongman a few months later…
All without the use of steroids!
Now before I continue, I’d like to make you aware of what keeps me
and my message at the forefront of the minds of aspiring strength
athletes, coaches, trainers and people working to get fit.
What sets me apart from 99.9% of the other authors and experts out
there is that I NEVER B.S you.
When I teach you something or share my ideas about strength, muscle
or performance it comes from my experiences… not some text book or
what I heard on the television.
I very rarely give advice about things I haven’t experimented with
myself.
That being said, there were several months towards the end of 2009
when I began using steroids. It was an attempt for me to discover
what all the whooplah was about.
And so I could share my personal experiences with it, instead of repeating
what some pencil neck on ESPN thinks about it.
But just like anything else that produces dramatic one-sided results,
there was a HUGE backlash. A price that I was not willing to pay in
the long run.
My personal experience is that manipulating my hormones unnaturally
not only changed my body, but negatively impacted my physiology,
psychology and character.
I did not like the person I turned me into.
I was NOT The Strongest Version Of Myself.
For the past two years I have invested all of my time and efforts
towards naturally boosting my anabolic hormones by making diet and
lifestyle choices that stimulate more lean muscle growth and sex energy
production.
At 200 pounds, sixty pounds less that when I was on the juice, I am
stronger than I was in college football, I am far leaner, I have ten times
more energy, and could probably whoop any 20-year-old’s ass like
he stole something.
My #1 method for remaining more naturally anabolic that most
teenagers, is keeping the hormone CORTISOL in check.
Over production of cortisol will make even the most robust manly-man,
shiver and crumble to the gym floor like a Saltine cracker under a 90 lb
kettlebell.
It makes you weak, sick, sad and stupid.
And even if you ARE using steroids, high cortisol will be evident in the
red tint of your eyes, your labored breathing and constipation.
There is NO escaping it, unless you learn how to manage your
Physiological Load.
I’ve run out of space here, but you can read more about that in the link
below.
http://growstrongerproductions.com/stress-free/catabolic/
You’ll also learn why almost everyone you know already has high cortisol,
and thats the main reason for so much weakness, sickness and depression
out there.
It’s messing up your muscle building, strength training and “boning ability”.
This website shows you what to do about it.
Grow Stronger Naturally,
Elliott “The Incredible” Hulse
PS – Just to be clear.. I am not an advocate for the use of anabolic steroids.
But if you do decided to use it be aware that there are some BIG drawbacks
that may outweigh the benefit.

This Horrible Hormone Makes You Weak, Fat And Stupid
You’ve been training for months.
You’re lifting weights, doing the newest fad cardio workout, and eating nothing
but protein and “good” fat.
At first your muscles seem to be getting a little harder and you think that the
mushy layer of soft skin wrapped around your waist may be finally getting
smaller.
But then it stops!
At first you think nothing of it. You just work a little harder and keep you diet
a little cleaner.
But THAT doesn’t work!
Now you’re a little worried. You think that maybe there is something wrong
with you… maybe you’re a hardgainer or a genetically cursed endomorph.
These ideas begin to haunt you, so you spend more time on the internet doing
“research” on forums and blogs.
You’re becoming so obsessed with your “problem” that you can’t sleep at night
and spend your late-night hours reading muscle articles and watching youtube
videos.
The next day you are super tired from lack of sleep, so you drink a Red Bull or
Rock Star energy drink to give you a boost before your workout.
Now it feels like you’re on a rollercoaster that seems like it’s going to crash!
You’re workouts are becoming more difficult to complete and it seems like you’re
getting WEAKER.
That layer of fat that was going away earlier seems to becoming more stubborn
than ever.
The words on your computer screen begin to look like they are dancing all
over the place and you can’t even remember what you read only 10 minute ago!
“What the hell is going on?”
You my friend, have become a victim of the sneaky, silent attack by the
Horrible Hormone.
A catabolic catastrophe that at some point strikes terror into the hearts of every
single man or women slaving away for a leaner, stronger body.
Until tomorrow….
MuuuuHaaHaaHaaHaaHaaaaaaaaaa!

We Are The 1% Of Muscle Builders
Yes, you read correctly… me and everyone else who is building strength
and muscle right now are in the 1%.
The other 99% are puny, weak, lazy losers!
I call them Muscle and Strength Socialists, who think they’re entitled to portion
of my hard earned muscle.
More about that in a moment.
========================================================
First I just wanted to remind you that today is the last day to get Eric Cressey’s
Show & Go Training system for 50% off.

========================================================
Now…
As a “One Percenter”me and my hard working buddies don’t take to kindly
to the whiny, crybabies that have been protesting in their frustration, pointing
their chubby little fingers at us!
First of all, we risk our time and money in order to become The Strongest
Version of Ourselves.
There is no guarantee of success when we grind away in the gym day-in-and
day-out working towards what we believe is the idea physical body.
But that is a risk we’re willing to take!
Well, after years of hard work when our muscles finally become bigger and
stronger than your average schmuck’s, we’d like to enjoy our wealth without
listening to the cries of all the Lazy Louie’s out there.
(In fact, if they were spending less time protesting in the streets they might
have time to workout in the gym or create a meal plan)
Look, I totally understand that you are frustrated.
But we are not your enemy.
Sure, you have been brainwashed to believe that if you just “buy this new gadget”
or “try this new supplement” that you might be able to shortcut your way to
a leaner, stronger body… like mine.
But it is a lie.
By the way, I totally resent those assholes who have lied to you also. But it was
YOU who decided to take their bate. No one put a gun to your head!
No one forced you to buy the supplements or spend four years in a gym contract
that you’ll never use.
In fact, many of us are happy to even create opportunities for guys like you.
We write books that teach you the truth about hard work. Many of us even
become trainers and coaches to help you succeed.
But all we get in return is your grief!
You still believe that having more muscle and strength is your right!
But that is another lie, pure and simple.
Where I come from the only guarantees are The PURSUIT of Life, Liberty and Muscle.
You’re not entitled to ANYTHING except the pursuit.
And you’re definitely not entitled to a share of my muscle… that is muscle and
strength socialism at its worst.
So, put down your pickets and pick up a freakin’ barbell for God’s sake!
Again, there is no guarantee of your success… but at least you’re free to pursue it.
And NO ONE should have the right to place a tax on your muscle once you earn
it.
Especially to give it away to some one who just doesn’t get it yet.
Grow Stronger Because There Are A Lot Of Weak Bastard Out There Who Want To Steal Your Muscle,
Elliott “The Incredible” Hulse

anything! — Muscle, Money or Mama’s biscuits.

Real Inspiration
There is no doubt that man is multidimensional. We are made up of, and are in constant interaction with, many seen (skin, bone, hair, nails, flesh and teeth) and unseen parts (thoughts, spirit and breath).
I found this video online this morning and thought that you would really enjoy it. The author of the video is a Christan pastor, so if you are offended by his language, references to the Bible or use of the word ‘God’… then I invite you to listen anyway, even if you have to ignore his spiritual references.
You need to see how he shows “the breath” or “inspiration” as more than a simple human function, but as a means for connecting with our inner essence, our creator and all that is calm and peaceful in nature. This places us in a very healthy and resourceful state of mind and physical health (remember what I taught you about Balancing The Autonomic Nervous System? — well, this is intrinsically linked to that ideal and conversations)
Watch and see how…
Does the perspective that author introduces provide you with a new idea about how vitally important our breath is to our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health?
How do you exercise and honor the “unseen” part of your reality? or How do you honor “The Breath” via physical exercise, meditation, prayer, Yoga, Chi Gung, etc?
If this is a n
ew concept to you… what are your thoughts?
**ALSO, I am thinking about sharing a method of Anabolic Energizing (breathing) exercises that I learned several years ago that I have begun to use again recently, with you.
It may be some videos or a live webinar… if this sounds like something that you may be interested in, please let me know in the comments section below (just say that it sounds like a cool idea… or not)
I’m very interested in your comments

Bull Strength Conditioning Interview With Joe Hashey
The True Stories Behind “Brutal Bull Workouts” With Joe Hashey
http://www.BrutalBullWorkouts.com
Last night I recorded a casual conversation with Joe Hashey, the psychotic author of The Bull Conditioning workout manual. Instead of all the typical “brilliant trainer” rhetoric that pollutes most expert interviews, Joe and I just “shot the breeze”. He revealed several weird and interesting stories about how some of these brutal conditioning workouts came into existence (one story was a about a client who got kicked out of a gym for…. well, I won’t spoil the joke!).
Also, since I tend to value character over technical BS… I got Joe to talk about his family life and new business, an incredible warehouse gym in NY where he literally transforms boys to men!
I think you’ll really enjoy this interview.

Pro Strongman Interview: Andy Deck
Last week I attended the Strongman Show of Champions in Orlando… the same show that I won my Pro Card at last year. Well, this year Andy Deck was the man who made the ascent from amateur to pro on this day! Andy is lean, strong and SUPER explosive! I was able to corner him last week for a short phone interview about his background and unique training style. He uses a ton of exercises and methods that I’ve never experimented with… but will be now! Enjoy!
