Fat Loss For Athletes

Listen, if you’ve been following me and reading my blog for some time — you’ve come to realize that I am NOT your typical “fat-loss, thinner thighs, fit-into-your-skinny-jeans with your pants pulled down so low that we can practically see your package”… fo-fo fitness expert.

If you wanna be fat and bloated… that’s fine with me.

BUT, understand that if your training for performance or health… the blubber has got to go!

And here is how you are going to do it.  Watch the video below.

One of the key indicators at the combine the NFL coaches look at is % body fat when looking at recruits. It is a lot more important than people think!

I managed to cut my BF% really low around Xmas and I looked rather scrawny and nasty so I’m actually spending this winter bulking up a bit cause I need to gain some serious muscle mass before I go that low again next summer! I’ve gained about 10kgs so far.

Hey! I resemble that remark. Except for the strong part.

But I disagree… there is plenty that is “cool” about being fat… if you are a walrus.

I’ve found better luck in a better diet, at least eradicating fried foods and sweets. You can’t live off 3000kcal of fast food and lift weights to stay “healthy”. Staying physical is 3/4ths of the equation though…

Hey Elliot, thanks for the info, will add it to my collection ;O) Have you checked out Precision nutrition by Dr John Berardi. Its the practical recipies and advice that makes it a killer, you can get simmilar “scientific” diets out there, but John really hits it on the nail. His gourmet nutrition book if fantastic, from 5 min meals to a full 3 course meal including deserts! I use his super shakes recipies and have made up my own. Happy to share mine. PS I dont get comission for sales !:O)
