Football Training - Medicine Ball Chest Pass

By Elliott | November 17, 2008

Getting your bench press up is great!  Being able to transfer that push strength into the face of an opponent… PRICELESS!

Whether you’re a Running Back thrusting a devastating stiff arm at the neck of a would-be tackler or a D-Lineman jamming your powerful grip into the chest of a slothful and lazy O-Lineman…

You gotta have a FAST and EXPLOSIVE push!!!

Build strength with bench presses and unleash your speed with these medicine ball chest passes:

Hi! I would like you to help me! I would like to bench much more but I’ve no idea how to take it up! I mean what’s the best for great results, 3 sets of 8, 10 or 12… 4 sets of 6… thanks for the answer!

@ David - to get stronger you must use the Power lifting method that i often describe in my articles and book. basically, you will need to build up to a 1 rep max or 3-5 reps depending on your training age. also be sure to change your max effort lift every 3-4 weeks.

ex. bench press, inc. bench, close grip bench, bench with chains etc.

I definitely remember throwing that same medicine ball against that same wall not too long ago! Good times.
