I live with 4 women!

Yesterday, as the 6pm Men’s Fitness Class was about to kick off our session, I got a call from Colleen.
She had been having contractions for a good part of the day and at 5:57 her water broke.
I rushed home and arrived at the same time as our midwife Anne.
Colleen paced around in our dark bedroom looking for the perfect position to labor. She finally settled on leaning over the far end of our bed.
At 6:48 Colleen began to push and at 6:57 Simone Elyse Hulse was born.
I am super proud of my wife and admire her ability to stay focused and clam during the birthing process. It is her combination of healthy lifestyle habits, good nutrition and emotional poise that has allowed her to birth each of our 3 daughters in the comfort of our own home and without the ridiculous interferences of doctors, surgeons and drugs.
I’ll post an edited version of the birthing video sometime this week, keep an eye out for it.
REAL men know that much of our strength is found in the support of a strong and responsible woman.
If you can not appreciate the emotional, mental and physical resolve that it takes for a women to bring forth a human life, then I invite you to reflect deeply on your values.
If you are offended or apathetic about child birthing and feminine values, then perhaps your masculinity is only skin deep.

Dude, I got choked up seeing the photos!!! What a blessing!!! Your wife is amazing, and your little girl is absolutely beautiful!!! Oh my goodness! I want to see Colleen again so I can shake her hand! She needs to write a book so the rest of us girls can learn how to be a real woman!
I have to say Simone is Gorgeous! But I couldn’t take my eyes off of Colleen too- she is a beautiful mother.
You both are so lucky to have each other and three gorgeous daughters! Congrats!

Hey man, congratulations! My wife and I just had our first little girl 6 weeks ago. Makes it hard to keep up with workouts but it’s worth it.
