Elliott Hulse Strongman & His Mini Van
Every so often I receive an email from one of my fans who reads HulseStrength.com and watches my Strength Camp TV shows asking me…
“Elliott, how do you do so much? Your business, your training, your family… how do you get it all done?”
Well, instead of my typical, arrogant rant about how everyone should live – I’ll just show you HOW I live on a day to day basis.
This is the first show in my new Strength Camp TV series called “The Strongman & His Mini Van”.
Ok, I can’t help it… I’ve got to relieve at least one “rant” (confession) about priorities on you.
Guess what? – As much as I love football, I have ZERO clue who is in the playoffs this year… the Superbowl will be in my city and I have absolutely no idea who is a contender. I don’t even know how my beloved NY Jets have done this year with Brett Favre.
This, not because I don’t love football but because instead of spending hours watching games on Sunday and viewing countless re-runs of SportsCenter… I work on my business, train my body and care for my family. (the things that matter MOST to me)
I have the same 24 hours a day that everyone has, I just choose to JAM PACK it with constructive, creative and resourceful activities that yield a high return… a life I love!
How have you PRIORITIZED your life to meet your goals for 2009?
Tell me by posting comments below!

Awesome vid man…I know the feeling all to well…between work, and kids playing sports and training myself and my brother its tough to do much else..but its cool with the kids get to go the garage with me to train on weekends…they cant wait to get in there to watch and mess around themselves.

Awesome Elliot. Your family looks great. By the way, so that means you’re the proud owner of two mini-vans?

It’s nice to see that you have a busy life just like most of us, but yet you still make the time to not only work out yourself, but to teach others. If you can do it living with four women anyone should be able to do it. I feel sorry for you when your daughters get a bit older. Enjoy being king of the castle now. Your overthrow is only a matter of time.

Beautiful girls Elliott. Many of us train and work. I’m happy to see you putting family as a priority and still get it all done. By the way, the front baby holster is kick ass.

Funny how we (coaches) are “Kings” in our world
and servants to our families. And that’s a great thing. Keep them close bro!!!! Speak at you later. Steele

@ chris – thanks man! it’s for real!
@ Anthony – that is at my friend toms house and his neighbors are pretty cool, but the city has been giving him some beef – so we’ve had to cut back on some of the stuff we do there – sucks!
@ Alex – no, 1 mini van and 1 creepy kid napper van.
@ Bob – I will be KING forever! (i hope)

WOW I Luv the Old Skool work outs. Back in the early 80’s, I got the chance to train with a strength coach with the Dallas Cowboys and he gave me a copy of “The Strongest Shall Servive”
Man, you are so Blessed to have what you have.
My kids are 24, 15, 13 & 12. Three boys and a girl. Peace…

Great video. I have one kid. How you manage to do it all with three is beyond me!
I am trying to fine tune the art of super-short workouts for myself coupled with very specific achievable training and performance goals.
Between training others and being a good family guy I am really having to re-think my own training.

@ Al – I can probably tell you a bunch of the “THINGS” I do to be able to live this way… but it would be useless without the considering the foundation for my success.
A GREAT WIFE! – my wife is super supportive of me and everything that I aim to achieve. She never nags me and we treat eachother with respect.
AND we actually like eachother! (this is a rare trait for modern marriages)
I think one of the biggest stumbling blocks for men (and women) in fulfilling their potential is choosing the WRONG partner. Someone who is needy, insecure, and who posesses a generally weak charachter is not one who a wise man would choose for a “Team mate.”
My job is to support her in fulfilling her deams and potentials and hers mine. Every day we show graditude for eachothers support… and it is usually as simple as saying “Thank You.”
