I’ve Seen You Naked (not impressed)
You’ve probably already figured out how much of a
geek I am… not only about strength but with anything
related to “the human experience”.
So yesterday as I was listening to a geeky audio program
as I drove my daughter to school in my pimped out 1995
Chevy Suburban and I heard the speaker say something I
thought was interesting.
He described how the roots of the word “persona” can be
broken down into two parts PER and SONA, meaning
“of sound” in Latin.
Back in the day, when people went to coliseums to watch
live dramas or plays for entertainment, the actors would
wear a large mask that had a megaphone attached to it.
The big mask would depict the character of the actor and
the megaphone would allow the audience to hear him speak,
even if they were sitting very far away.
They called this big, flamboyant, megaphone mask…
a “Persona”.
Today we use the term more as it was described by the
psychologist Carl Jung as “the mechanism that conceals
a persons true thoughts or feelings.”
Just like the mask!
But here is the interesting thing about our “persona”…
If someone with a skilled eye assesses you by your body
structure and how you display certain Muscle Viruses…
they can see right through your facade.
You become naked to this skilled practitioner!
This is why the topic of muscular skeletal assessment is

Hi Elliot,
I was just wondering if you could help me. I am in trying to strip the last few lbs of fat to get lean but trying not to lose too the muscle. I was told I need to consume the optimum amount of 1.5 grams per pound of bodyweight. So according ot my calculations I should be consuming 330grams per day. My question is how would you go about doing this without the use of protein shakes etc. I’d rather do this naturally or as organically as possible.
