Can you hang with Strongman Elliott Hulse?

I’ve been lucky enough to have a few great training partners pounding weights with me at Strength Camp, most recently my buddy Brandon.

But, every so often I’ll get taunts and pleas from those to are dying to try a session training at my Strongman Intensity. My workouts are NOT designed for football players, fitness clients or those seeking “thinner thighs”… they are designed to help me win my Strongman Pro Card and become a Professional Strongman in a show this spring (more on that later).

Well after a few weeks of harassment, I allowed some of my athletes to taste the iron the way I prepare it… sauteed in salty sweat and swollen knuckles.

How bad do you REALLY want it?

On practically a daily basis I get phone calls and emails from men and athletes who claim that they’d like to:

1. Lose fat and build lean muscle

2. Gain size and strength for football

3. Get faster and more explosive

4. Regain their cardiovascular strength and stamina

5. And the list goes on….

But the truth is that most of these guys are just dreamers, they want things to get better but are not willing to get UNCOMFORTABLE to make it happen.

Results are reserved for people who are willing to move out of the comfort zone and challenge themselves.

These guys are far and few between, but the do exist.  Maybe you are one of them!

We’ll one thing is for sure, the guys who attend my 6 am fitness camps are THE REAL DEAL.  Some of them even travel as far as 45 minutes each way to attend Strength Camp.

The #1 exercise for children’s strength training

Yesterdays video of the Chinese gymnasts seemed to strike a nerve with a lot of people.

I wanted to show you how I believe children under the age of 7 years old should be training.

Watch this geat video of Jack’s (one of my Strength Camp members) 5 year old daughter training with us at Strength Camp.

Also, my mother always says “Children LIVE WHAT THEY SEE!” – if you are fat, sad, sick, tired and lazy… guess what kind of kids you’re gonna have!!!

I encourage all of the fathers that attend Strength Camp to BRING THEIR KIDS to watch what their daddys are doing.

I know that this has a greater impact then simply telling them “go out and exercsie” or the vague “what don’t you just eat somthing healthy?”

When these guys bring their children to see them sweat and break their a*s in the name of good health, their children are 100X more likely to LIVE WHAT THEY SEE.

Many of you had concerns about how you should be training your young kids, here is my answer.

1. if they are older than 16 and play football or baseball check out my ==> Football Strength System

2. if they are younger than 12 or just getting stared with sports check out ==> The IYCA

OH, and I almost for got… the #1 exercise for childrens strength training is – LAUGHTER!  (trains the core ;) )

What’s in my bag?

Here is the first video in my “Quest To Pro Strongman” series, I’ll be updating you ove the course of the next few days.. 

This is my first stop, Tampa International Airport – the cleanest and best airport I’ve ever been in.  I grew up in NYC and can tell you, Laguardia and Kennedy are nasty dumps!  ;)
