My 100 Day Routine To A 600 Lb Dead Lift

Last week I showed you the video of me failing at
a 545 dead lift using a 2′ thick bar.

You can see my attempt on the video at the top of
this website.

Failure is the best teacher, and for me a GREAT
motivator!

That is why I have chosen a new goal of hitting a
600 LB axle dead lift in the next 100 days.
(with no supplements, lifting belts and no straps!)

For the past 30 days I had created a challenge for
myself called The Anabolic Challenge. On Friday
I had completed 30 days without any sugar, alcohol
or gluten grains.

Also, I performed a set of Anabolic Energizers and
meditation daily during the 30 days.

This weekend I took a break from the diet and PAID
a big price… my energy sucked and my skin broke out!

So now I’m doing it again… but I’m upping the ante!

For the next 100 days you can follow every single
workout that I’ll be doing to work my way up to a
600 pound dead lift.

Every workout will be documented for our members
over on the new Strength Camp Workouts website.

For the next 100 days I will also be:

* Following the Anabolic Challenge diet.
* Doing daily Anabolic Energizers.
* Mid day resting.
* Practicing mindful breathing and focus techniques.
* Meditating with Holosync.
* And generally keeping my stress very low.

The purpose of following these parameters (along with
a few others that I will tell you about later) is to build
up anabolic energy and increase my strength for the big
dead lift.

I invite you to join me.

Some people may say, “Elliott, its almost holiday time…
don’t you want to have some fun?”

Honestly, getting stronger IS the most fun I can have.
So, I will not feel “left out” when everyone else is stuffing
their guts with sugar cookies and whiskey while I am
getting stronger!

It’s all about values and commitment.

If you want to follow my dead lift routine, as well as the
other workouts, meditation and secret experiments I’ll be
doing for the next 100 days…

You gotta be a Strength Camp Workouts member.

See ya on the inside :)

Real Inspiration

There is no doubt that man is multidimensional.  We are made up of, and are in constant interaction with, many seen (skin, bone, hair, nails, flesh and teeth) and unseen parts (thoughts, spirit and breath).

I found this video online this morning and thought that you would really enjoy it.  The author of the video is a Christan pastor, so if you are offended by his language, references to the Bible or use of the word ‘God’… then I invite you to listen anyway, even if you have to ignore his spiritual references.

You need to see how he shows “the breath” or “inspiration” as more than a simple human function, but as a means for connecting with our inner essence, our creator and all that is calm and peaceful in nature. This places us in a very healthy and resourceful state of mind and physical health (remember what I taught you about Balancing The Autonomic Nervous System? — well, this is intrinsically linked to that ideal and conversations)

Watch and see how…

Does the perspective that author introduces provide you with a new idea about how vitally important our breath is to our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health?

How do you exercise and honor the “unseen” part of your reality?  or How do you honor “The Breath” via physical exercise, meditation, prayer, Yoga, Chi Gung, etc?

If this is a new concept to you… what are your thoughts?

**ALSO, I am thinking about sharing a method of Anabolic Energizing (breathing) exercises that I learned several years ago that I have begun to use again recently, with you.

It may be some videos or a live webinar… if this sounds like something that you may be interested in, please let me know in the comments section below (just say that it sounds like a cool idea… or not)

I’m very interested in your comments :)

The Muscle Gaining Power of Meditation

meditation42

By Jason Ferruggia
Everywhere you go today you find more and more people who are dealing with increasing stress levels. Excess stress leads to excess cortisol production and lowers your testosterone and growth hormone secretion, which of course makes muscle building nearly impossible and leaves you with a lot more bodyfat; not to mention a decreased sex drive, the inability to relax or focus and a whole bunch of other problems like decreased immune response and higher frequency of injuries.

For centuries, meditation has been known to reduce stress and relax the mind thus greatly improving your overall health and physical appearance. By decreasing your stress levels you will automatically increase your muscle building dramatically. You will immediately experience greater energy, tighter pumps in the gym, faster muscle building and improved recovery. You will find your sex drive rapidly increasing and you will be able to focus and experience a whole new level of clarity.

Most gym rats, lifters and other fitness obsessed individuals have largely ignored the benefits of meditation and the dramatic muscle building impact it can have on your training and your well being. Recently I was turned on to the Holosync Meditation CD’s and the results were dramatic within just the first few days. These are the only mediation CD’s out there that actually work. In the past I have experimented with other meditation programs but never seemed to get anything out of them. This program is completely different. Several friends and clients that I have recommended the program to have all noticed great benefits including improved performance in their muscle building workouts.

I have always been an intense person who can get a little too stressed out sometimes. Recently, I have made some drastic changes in my life that have helped me reduce my stress levels. The Holosync Meditation CD’s have played a large part in my recent transformation. I use these CD’s every night and really look forward to my meditation sessions. I usually listen to them immediately after my workout and find that it helps me relax and accelerates my recovery. I have also noticed a marked improvement in my productivity since starting the program, which was a very nice surprise.

I can’t recommend the Holosync Meditation CD’s highly enough and sincerely think that everyone should give this program a shot ASAP. You will not be disappointed and your life will be a lot better for it.

Train hard,

Motivation vs. Discipline

I awake at 4 AM most mornings of the week.

I do this because of a commitment I’ve made to myself… to meditate daily.

With all of the responsibilities of being a father, husband, business owner Pro Strongman… 4 AM is the only time I have throughout the day to meditate.

There are mornings that I don’t FEEL like getting up… but I still do.

Does this mean that I am highly motivated?

Or is there another secret that allows me to spring out of bed when most people are still drooling on their pillows?

Discover my secret for DOING THE RIGHT THING… whether I feel like it – or not.

Unmotivated? — Then get off your ass and change your life in 100 days! => http://www.hulsestrength.com/recommends/100_days
