Starting out on your own as a private Strength & Conditioning Coach is not an easy thing!

- First, you’ve gotta know “your shit”. It’s not enough to be able to bench press, squat and power clean yourself… you also need the skills to effectivly teach others how to perform as well.
- Next, even if you ARE an awesome coach with all of the “know-how” and credentials, you’ve got to get clients! You need to understand marketing and how to earn a living doing what you love.
- Finally, in order to make it big in any industry… you’ve got to asscoiate with the “big guys” who are already well known for getting results. Bascially, when you surround yourself with succesful people you have no choice but to grow successful yourself. — AMAZING, huh?
=============================================
A few weeks ago an enormous 6′6 man wearing a goatee, stylish sunglasses and an Ed Hardy t-shirt walked into my gym. He walked straight up to me in the middle of my gym while I was teaching 3 high school football players how to flip our 750 lbs tire, and says to me, “I’ve flown down to Florida from Boston so that YOU can teach me how to lift stones.”
This statement alone impressed me, not to mention that the hand he shook mine with was as big as a bunch of banannas.
So, I invited him to lift stones with me and a bunch of “redneck” strongmen who get together at my gym every Saturday morning to throw around heavy things.
Take a look at what ensued:
Well, upon his departure he asked me, “Elliott will you join me in September for a clinic to teach other strength coaches what you know about Strongman Training for sports and fitness… while earning a solid living?”
I don’t often venture outside of the 4 mile radius that encapsulates my home and gym… but, I listened to his plea and eventually agreed that coaches, trainers and athletes really need to get HANDS ON experience with this type of training and be in the presence of others who have achieved the goals that they are after.
So, I told him “Im in… but only under one condition… keep the price low enough so that EVERYONE can benefit from this course.” — It’ NOT going to cost you $1,000, not even close.

Also, I asked if he could invite a few of my other Strength Training buddies to join us in teaching that day. And he complied…
You will get to train, meet and gain solid knowledge from me and guys like Zach Even-Esh, Joe Hasey, AJ Roberts, Paul Reddick, and the big man himself Tim Mosolino.

If you’d like to meet up with me and 5 of the top Strength Coaches in the US… then you’ll need to hook up with us here ==> Strength Coach 101
ALSO, tomorrow I will be sending you an invitation to join me on a special phone call.
I’ll tell you more about it then! — Stay tuned.
Strength Camp Keg Training For Football & Fitness

One of the most versatile pieces of trash that we use at Strength Camp for getting members strong and conditioned is THE KEG!
There are about 5 different training drills and exercises that we use the keg for… in the video I will teach you how to MAKE A TRAINING KEG and how to get fit using it.
Also I invite you to join us for our first Christmas Keg Party, I call it Santa’s Sled Drag, this Friday at 9pm… live band, 3 kegs and good times in Florida
Oh, and tell me what you think of my new video backdrop…. I’m trying to make them more interesting (mostly to entertain myself). I almost did the whole show with my shirt off but I decided to keep the goods hidden for Colleen.
For more keg training drills and how to make other strongman training tools you might want to check out the DVD’s that come with => http://www.FootballStrengthProgram.com

We’ve been doing a ton of great things with baseball and football players over the past few weeks.
Since I am always taking random video shots I’ve got a bunch of clips that typically go unseen.
So instead of leaving them for lost… I just threw together a short compilation video for you to enjoy.
ONE THING! – Every week I have been sending you at least one video that is a “Tutorial”, basically a video with me sharing some in-depth information about strength and conditioning… not just some surface content or feel-good BS.
I need you to do me a big favor though… please let me know what you would like me to do the next few Tutorials on.
Just post your questions or topic suggestions below!
Enjoy the video!
Check out: http://www.FootballStrengthProgram.com before the price goes WAAAY up on December 1st. Don’t miss the boat!

On practically a daily basis I get phone calls and emails from men and athletes who claim that they’d like to:
1. Lose fat and build lean muscle
2. Gain size and strength for football
3. Get faster and more explosive
4. Regain their cardiovascular strength and stamina
5. And the list goes on….
But the truth is that most of these guys are just dreamers, they want things to get better but are not willing to get UNCOMFORTABLE to make it happen.
Results are reserved for people who are willing to move out of the comfort zone and challenge themselves.
These guys are far and few between, but the do exist. Maybe you are one of them!
We’ll one thing is for sure, the guys who attend my 6 am fitness camps are THE REAL DEAL. Some of them even travel as far as 45 minutes each way to attend Strength Camp.
Now that’s dedication! – Check a few of these heroes out below!
I understand that if you don’t live in St. Pete and still want to get in shape like we do… that’s why I recommend The Real Man Muscle Building Plan. Its jammed with fast and hard workouts that get real results.
What are your sports and fitness goals? AND what are you going to do TODAY that will move you closer to it?
I wanna know, post your answers below!!

You may remember Draydon… he is the High School football player that injured his knee and as a result is spending his season at Strength Camp to get stronger, faster and injury free. (search below for part 1 with Draydon)
In this video, Ill show you how we are now increasing Draydon’s “work capacity”, tendon strength and flexibility with a barbell complex and some core exercises – many of which are included in my Football Strength System.

***A FEW OTHER THINGS***
1. Thanks for all of the feedback on what my new name should be
there have been some great suggestions and some wacky ones too! I haven’t decided yet but I will either go with NO NAME, just Elliott Hulse or my wife Colleen suggested Elliott Hulse “The Emperor Of Strength” – which I like. Also “The Strength Guru”
Keep em coming!
2. If you look at the bottom of this post you see a bunch of little pictures. These are “Social Bookmarking Tools”, you can use them to suggest my blog posts to others (or DIGG them), you can also email them to your friends.
If you like my blog, share it with others… I am starting a “Strength & Success Movement” and I need as many recruits as possible!!
Keep Rockin!

I often have parents walk into my gym ( Strength Camp ) and demand that I teach their chubby little tykes how to eat right, exercise and lose weight. These parents think that they can BUY discipline and character for their dysfunctional young demons. What they fail to realize is that they, themselves are the problem!!! Not the kid.
Here is my typical response – “Tell me Helga… who cooks the food in your home?”
Helga – “Well… I usually pick it up on the way home from my baby-daddy’s house.”
Me – “Then what you are telling me is that you don’t provide healthy foods for your children, correct?”
Helga - Fumbling for words and scratching her itchy anus.
Me – “Helga, once you get your fat, Flintstones foot out of your mouth – answer this question for me. How do you expect your children to eat healthy foods and exercise when you are an overweight and lazy woman?”
“You are on 5 different prescription medications for so-called depression, you lay in bed at night – unable to fall asleep, the only water that ever touches your lips is that which you bush your teeth with, the last vegetable you ate was ketchup, you haven’t taken a shit all week, and the whites of your eyes are gray.”
My advice is – Be who you would like your children to be. They are your mirrors, whatever YOU ARE will most likely be reflected in them. AND no one can do this for you, not their teachers, not the church, not me – NO ONE, but you.
Below is a video of Dave Zillig and his son Sean training at Strength Camp. Dave is a perfect example to his son. He doesn’t just talk the talk, he walks the walk – and it is reflected in Sean’s character. Sean is a responsible, disciplined and athletic 13 year old… by design! (By the way, Dave just returned from a mountain climbing trip in Colorado! The man never stops… guess who will be just like him?)
***Be sure to read the bottom of this post after watching the video. I have important news for you.***
ATTENTION:
Admission into my Strength Camp programs are getting tighter. With my recent expansion and program offerings I have been inundated with “tire kickers” – people who thing it might be cool to join Strength Camp but are not COMMITTED to it. Free trials will be eliminated and there will be an application and interview process for membership. This will all take effect in September. If you are interested in joining my programs and would like to avoid the ensuing “Velvet Rope” – send me an email at strengthcamp@gmail.com to learn how you may be able to “get in”.
